Palazzo Medici Riccardi

We visited Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence on a lovely spring day...it was fascinating.  Built between 1444 and 1484 by the Medici family, it was later sold to the Riccardi family and reflects the wealth of both.  It is full of gilding, marble, amazing tapestries, paintings, and sculptures.
