Milan is a very, very expensive city...think New York or San Francisco...the food is great here, but prices are a bit crazy...6 euros for a Diet Pepsi ?? (but well worth it , right ??!!)
We had a wonderful meal in a small osteria after we went to see the Last Supper. I had paccheri (tube shaped pasta) stuffed with buffalo milk ricotta and crab meat...oh yum ! Joe had the "business lunch" which consisted of fish, potatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti, and mussels...a lot of food...no wonder there is an afternoon siesta !

We also had a lovely dinner at a small restaurant near the Park Hyatt...

Our last meal was our most inexpensive...and very enjoyable ! Our taxi driver recommended the Chicago-style pizza at Spontini...a standing only place on the corner...yummy...

And for dessert ?...a work of art !
Called the "happy cone", it had chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel gelato topped with hot fudge and whipped cream...oh yeah, I was happy !
